    On a totally-unrelated subject: One of my interests is data-analysis (must put that on my profile, too). One of the things I’ve wondered about for ages is - Is it possible to do crosstabs / pivot-tables using Javascript? (Very preferably cross-platform javascript … )

    In particular, I was wondering about whether it is possible to read (say) a comma-separated file (with column-headings) into a javascript array or matrix, and then being able to manipulate it just like Excel’s pivot-tables.

    I should mention that this is not something I need to do - it’s just something that I’ve wondered if it were possible.
