ToolMan DHTML Write Up at StudioWhiz

Mr. K shared with me his write up on my library and examples posted at his site StudioWhiz. In addition to containing some nice ego-inflating compliments, Mr. K also has created his own edit-in-place and drag-and-drop examples linked to from his article.

Perhaps you have already thought of this, but you have all the pieces to make a web based visual query tool. I envision using drag table columns from an available list to a query building pad (much like the tool found in access). Amazing!

I’ve detedted a javascript error in your tool-man example pages.

I’ve fixed the error adding the next line: if (!group) return into line 181 of drag.js

Just wanted you to know that 2 years later, your scripts hit the spot. I fought with other, bigger, fancier scripts - which look like they built off of yours, btw - and they were too much.

Yours, however, did exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!
